Medical
Primary healthcare offered at the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation Health Center (CIRHC) and at the Lionel R. John Health Center (LRJHC)
We currently have Internal Medicine Physicians, Family Medicine Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants at each health center. The providers are focused on patient care throughout the week. The physicians supervise and collaborate with the mid-level medical staff.
Each Medical Unit is also staffed by highly qualified nurses, both Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
The medical staff work together to provide excellent health care to our patients. The focus is on chronic disease management, acute care, preventative care, sick and well child visits, screenings, physical examinations, and immunizations. Emphasis is placed on health management of our patients. A Community Health Representative is available to provide patient care and education on a limited basis to those who may be homebound.
Podiatry and orthotics, pediatrics, audiology, and ultrasound are available at each site for consultation.
The units are assisted and supported by a medical administrative assistant and a receptionist that provide necessary support services for the units to function smoothly. Referral nurses are available to assist in the referral process.
Laboratory services and basic radiology is also available.
